which meant rolling the car out of the carport, jacking up the left rear, pulling the wheel off and replacing the fuel line between the tank and the fuel pump which is mounted up under the car in front of the rear axle. Put wheel back on, lower car, turn ignition and listen to the pump immediately pull fuel from the tank and pressurize the float bowls on the carbs. Lower the top, start car, drive around enjoying a 70 degree day in central NC...photo not from today :)

Was that the one at North Hills awhile back? I remember driving by and wanting to stop.

Thanks! A Midget is wonderful for many things:
- one of the highest fun per dollar ratios you'll find
- teaching you how to work on cars
- teaching you about old and often arcane technologies
- getting strangers to talk to you as most anybody under 35 wants to know what the hell that tiny car is :)
